Corporate Business - Jhoanna Astudillo

 

Jhoanna Astudillo’s journey is a testament to resilience, leadership, and a passion for empowering others. Emigrating from Cuenca, Ecuador, to the United States in 1999, she overcame language and cultural barriers to forge an impactful career. Jhoanna joined the U.S. Army the same year, serving as a Sergeant and logistics specialist during Operation Iraqi Freedom before retiring in 2003.

She holds double bachelor’s degrees in international business and marketing from Illinois State University and has held leadership roles at JPMorgan Chase, earning National Achiever Awards. As Regional Diversity Council Leader at Chase, she developed DEI initiatives across Oklahoma, Texas, and Louisiana, earning the 2015 “40 Under 40” award in Oklahoma City.

Now, as the Vice President and Hispanic Segment Leader at BOK Financial, Jhoanna focuses on building relationships and partnerships to meet the financial needs of the Hispanic/Latino community and small businesses nationwide. She is also a member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council at BOKF, co-leader of the Community of Practice for Inclusion, and a mentor to others.

Her leadership and community impact have earned her numerous accolades, including the President's Volunteer Bronze Service Award in 2023, the Tulsa Top 40 Hispanic Leaders in 2024, and the 2022-2023 Early Achievement Award from her alma mater. Beyond her corporate role, Jhoanna serves on the boards of the Uma Center of Tulsa, the Tulsa Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and La Cosecha - The Harvest and is an ambassador for San Miguel School.
