Get Involved – Make a Gift

YWCA Tulsa serves more than 13,000 individuals and families every year. The membership and program fees we charge for services help maintain our equipment and facilities, and we are a proud Tulsa Area United Way Partner Agency.

When you make a donation to the YWCA, you can have confidence that it is being used for its intended purpose and that it is being used to leverage other funds to ensure maximum impact.

Make a General Donation

When you choose to make a general donation, your gift will fund YWCA Tulsa’s greatest need. We count on general donations to continue providing health and wellness equity, as well as immigrant and refugee services, to Tulsans.

Make A Gift to Our Free Swim Programs

YWCA Tulsa is dedicated to providing swim lessons to all Tulsa children through Los Pececitos and All Swim. Our free swim programs are designed to remove financial and language barriers to participating in swim lessons, and we can’t do it without your support! A gift to our free swim programs ensures all Tulsa kids are safe in the water this summer.

Pinnacle Awards

In 1987, the Pinnacle Awards was established by the Mayor’s Tulsa Women’s Commission to celebrate the important contributions of women to the City of Tulsa. The event honored women who were exemplary leaders in the Tulsa community and demonstrated both professional success and commitment to service.

In 2015, the Mayor’s Tulsa Women’s Commission (formerly known as the Mayor’s Commission on the Status of Women), forged a partnership with YWCA Tulsa’s event Women of the Year recognizing women who were role models and embodied their mission of eliminating racism, empowering women, standing up for social justice, and helping families. Over the last thirty years we have collectively honored over 225 women, sharing their stories, amplifying their voices, recognizing their service, and congratulating them for their achievements.

Welcoming Week

Welcoming Week, a national campaign that embraces unity and diversity across the United States, fostering stronger connections and more resilient communities. YWCA Tulsa is proud to lead the Welcoming Week celebrations in Tulsa, inviting neighbors of all backgrounds to join together for a free outdoor festival at the YWCA East Community Center located at 8145 E 17th St., Tulsa, OK.

“We believe that unity and inclusion are the cornerstones of strong and vibrant communities,” said Julie Davis, CEO at YWCA Tulsa. “Our Welcoming Week Kickoff Family Field Day embodies these values, and we’re excited to bring people together for a day of fun, connection, and celebration.”

The Welcoming Week Kickoff Family Field Day wouldn’t be complete without the generous support of sponsors. YWCA Tulsa extends its heartfelt gratitude to its Presenting Sponsors: George Kaiser Family Foundation, Bank of Oklahoma, and AAON. Additional support is provided by our Area Sponsors: Touch Point, Schaffer Herring Law Firm, and Bama Companies, as well as our Activity Sponsors: Tinker Federal Credit Union, Simmons Bank, Pedroza & Pedroza. and Milos Tea Company.

The event will also showcase a diverse range of local resource booths, providing valuable information and connections to various community services. In collaboration with La Cosecha, attending families will receive free produce and groceries, contributing to their well-being and nourishment.

Stay tuned for the announcement of the 2025 Welcoming Week community festival

Volunteer

YWCA Tulsa wants to thank all who lend a helping hand and volunteer with us! Our mission of ending racism and empowering women is possible because of you. As our volunteer outreach grows, we hope to soon present how our efforts are contributing to the Tulsa community. For now, take a look at just a few of the ways volunteers contribute at YWCA Tulsa:

Health Equity and Wellness: Our Health Equity and Wellness Department has maintained a community garden for years, allowing the thriving fruits and vegetables to provide healthy produce for our neighbors. Volunteers like you help maintain the garden, watering, weeding, harvesting and more. Immigrant and Refugee Services: Our Immigrant and Refugee Services Department serves hundreds of refugees that come to YWCA Tulsa for various needs, including education, English language services, citizenship classes, resettlement aid and more. Volunteers play a pivotal role in helping our legal, education, and case management teams change the lives of families from across the world.
