Community Service - Sarah Gilpin
Sarah Gilpin’s career and volunteer work are deeply rooted in advancing diversity, equity, and opportunities for women. As a Brand Manager in Communications and Strategic Development at Williams, Sarah drives initiatives that empower underrepresented groups. She helps strategize community presence for ten Employee Resource Groups, fostering inclusion and amplifying diverse voices across the workforce. Her leadership earned her Williams’ prestigious Champion Award in 2023.
Sarah’s commitment extends beyond her professional role. As the inaugural Chairwoman of Tulsa’s Asian Affairs Commission, she leads efforts to uplift Tulsa’s Asian population through advocacy, data, and cultural celebration. Her initiatives include hosting Tulsa’s first Lunar New Year celebration and honoring Asian-identifying leaders and businesses making significant contributions.
Sarah dedicates her time to mentoring young girls at Tulsa Girls Art School, teaching confidence and self-expression through art, and empowering elementary students through the Route 66 Marathon Kicks for Kids program. As a board member for Sistema Tulsa and 108 | Contemporary, she furthers the arts community in Tulsa that create opportunities for women and diverse communities to thrive.
Her courage and leadership shone brightly when she delivered a powerful keynote at the 2021 “Stop Asian Hate” rally, advocating for unity and awareness. Sarah’s tireless dedication continues to inspire women and advance diversity in all her endeavors.
